Imagiqueは、ライターのPrestonとイラストレーターNagataによるアートユニットで、チームプロジェクトが初めて実現したのは2012年、絵本の共同制作を始めたときでした。個々にも活動を行っており、Prestonの書籍はアメリカのシャーリー・ジャクソン賞にノミネートされ、イギリスとアメリカのPS社やタイタン出版から出版されています。同書籍にはNagataによるイラストレーションが掲載されているものもあります。
Imagique is the art unit of Nagata and Preston, whose team project first came to fruition in 2012 when they began collaborating on a picture book. Working individually, Preston's book was nominated for the Shirley Jackson Award in the US and has been published by PS and Titan Publishing in the UK and US. Some of the books feature illustrations by Nagata.
